Refractaria installs a new shuttle kiln.

Refractaria has installed a new shuttle kiln to improve the energy efficiency of its facilities. Funding for the project was provided by the National Energy Efficiency Fund (Ministry for Ecological Transition) and the European Regional Development Fund (European Union), as part of an aid programme designed to promote energy efficiency measures within SMEs and large companies operating within the industrial sector. The results are shown below:

Project name: Installation of an shuttle kiln to improve the energy efficiency of the refractory material firing facility.
Project description: The project involved installing a new shuttle kiln to optimise the operation of the refractory material firing facility and improve its energy efficiency.
Energy savings generated by the project: 5.140.264 kWh per year (441,98 tep/año)
Emissions reduction generated by the project: 935.53 tonnes of CO2 per year
Eligible investments for the project: 1.970.544,41 €
Aid granted: 591.163,32 €
