Refractaria develops combinal shaped refractory materials

Refractaria, in its continuous commitment to innovation and the development of innovative products capable of responding to the changing needs of its customers, has carried out a new project: IDE-2019-000372: Development of combinal shaped refractory materials. The objective of the project is to develop double-layer shaped refractory materials, which combine in a single refractory product the resistance to service conditions on the working side and the insulating properties on the sheet metal side. Through this project, double-layer shaped refractories have been obtained that reduce the sheet temperature obtained with the refractory on the working side by about 40ºC. The duration of the project covers from June 2019 to November 2021. For this project, there has been co-financing, both from the Government of the Principality of Asturias through IDEPA and the Science, Technology and Innovation Plan (PCTI) 2018-2022, and the European Union through the ERDF.
